What Is Business Valuation?
Business valuation is where numbers meets the human element. A Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) combines not just the income and assets of a business but an understanding of the intangible and qualitative elements of a business to conclude on the fair market value. CBVs are recognized by Canadian courts, the CRA, and business leaders as experts in the field of business valuation, relied upon as an independent expert or a strategic advisor in measuring, creating, and protecting value. CBVs are called upon in many different situations including those requiring a determination of value, litigation support, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder disputes.

Chartered Business Valuator
Kyle Huntingdon
Kyle is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and registered member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. Working through Bridgman and Durksen Chartered Professional Accountants, Kyle has been preparing Business Valuations for over 5 years. He also has experience working on financial accounting, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. He has a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting from Niagara College.
When not working Kyle is frequently found volunteering with the Rotary Club of Welland (as Youth Director) or spending time with his wife Véronic and son Vincent.
